Jubril is a certified climate & sustainable energy finance expert from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Germany. He holds a PhD in development finance and community development from the Da Vinci Institute for Technology Management; a MSc. in Strategic Finance with merits honors from Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom; and a BA. in Business Administration (Accounting as major) with first class honors from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom.

He has worked in the Nigerian banking industry for over 11 years in three banks i.e. Oceanic Int’l Bank, Sterling Bank, and Heritage Bank, covering various areas in the banks i.e. corporate banking, commercial banking, SME banking, retail banking, internal audit and control, strategy, and financial inclusion. He is currently Managing Director at SMEFUNDS Capital.

He is a columnist for SMEClub, an online community and resource center for owners and managers of small businesses in Africa, as well as with Business Day, the most reputable business and economic news journal in Nigeria. As a columnist, He has published over 15 articles relating to integral banking, development finance, common good indicators, youth and SME development, and financial inclusion in Nigeria. He is also a senior fellow at the Trans4m Center for Integral Development, Switzerland.
